Dereham beaten at home after a mixed performance

Dereham put in a mixed performance in their latest East League Division 1N fixture.
They enjoyed long periods of possession and created good opportunities, but were left disappointed as visitors Wapping II won 3-1.
Dereham started strongly, with the Wapping defence finding it difficult to cope with the movement of Guy Crookes and Will Edwards.
But the visitors took the lead midway through the first half from a well-worked goal against the run of play. They then scored a second before Dereham pulled one back after an excellent strike from Edwards.
Dereham then had many opportunities but failed to convert, with Edwards hitting the post and missing by the finest of margins. As Dereham pressed for an equaliser they were left exposed at the back and Wapping capitalised to score a third. It's Waltham Forest away on Saturday.
