Junior captain Maisie Farrelly addressed the juniors saying she had come up with a new team event for 2018 and hoped all juniors would enter by getting a team together.

She added that she hoped to run a friendly league between Dereham and a handful of other nearby clubs.

Captain Graham Howe talked about the club being involved in the town's carnival this summer. The idea had come from Simon Crane at a recent junior committee meeting and was well received.

The club will looking for support from all members.

After everyone had given their reports there was time for some fun. The captain had everyone on their feet for 'heads and tails' which was won by Immy Leeder with runner-up Charlie Eke, both of whom received cash prizes.

Junior vice-captain Liam Kevern ran a golf-related quiz which went to a tie-break and still finished with Beth Buckingham's team and Max Jacob's team sharing the spoils.
