ON Saturday, Dereham Otters travelled to Downham Market to compete in round two of the National Swimming League. In their East Midlands region round they met teams from Alysham, Chatteris, Newport Pagnell and Wisbech.

ON Saturday, Dereham Otters travelled to Downham Market to compete in round two of the National Swimming League.

In their East Midlands region round they met teams from Alysham, Chatteris, Newport Pagnell and Wisbech.

Again there were some great swims from the Otters with 25 wins, 12 personal bests and 12 club records, with Chris Searle breaking records in the 100m individual medley and the 100m freestyle.

The only pressure came from Newport Pagnell as the Otters came out clear winners with 233 points.

Jed Snell was selected to represent Norfolk in the National Youth Championships held at Sheffield. There were 19 counties competing and he came sixth in the 100m breaststrokein a new club record time.
