Dereham Town suffer defeat at Woodbridge

Dereham slipped below Woodbridge in the Ridgeons League Premier Division table and down to 10th position after Saturday’s defeat in Suffolk.

The Woodpeckers went ahead after 22 minutes when Allicion Blake’s 25-yard shot beat Dereham goalkeeper Matthew Powell.

In the second half, Jordan Rocastle shot wide for Dereham and Daniel Francis’ effort was well saved.

After 80 minutes the hosts scored a second as Lewis Pemberton’s free-kick was headed in by Liam Scopes.

This Saturday, Dereham host Haverhill in their last home match of the season.
