CRICKET: The Dr Fisher Cup continues at Highfield Lawn, Fakenham tomorrow (Friday) night when Hillington meet Bradenham, 6pm start, in a match sponsored by Corders Budgens Local.
Last week, Mattishall (105 for one) cruised past Bircham (102 for eight), the match sponsored by M D Williamson Carpets.
Next week, June 17, Sandringham meet Creake (match sponsor Neil Brodie Electrical Contractor) in the last of the opening round matches.
The semi-finals (sponsored by Fanthorpe's Unisex Hairdressers and Fakenham Heel Bar) should be played on June 24 and July 1, with the 20-over final of one of Norfolk's oldest limited-overs competitions on July 15 (sponsor Papworth Butchers).
