With the start of the outdoor bowls season fast approaching, Aldiss Park Bowls Club will be holding its pre-season meeting on Wednesday, March 22, in the main bar at Dereham Town Football Club, starting at 7.30pm.
The local club is always open to new members, experienced or beginner, and prospective members are invited to come along to the meeting. Alternatively, anyone wishing to join, or learn to play bowls, can contact Anita Smith on 01362 697574 or George Thomas on 01362 695579 for more information.
Following on from the pre-season meeting, the club will be holding its opening drive and first roll-up session on Wednesday, April 23, starting at 2pm. At the club Wednesday roll-ups, training will be available for beginners.
The club and green is located at the Dereham Town Football Club complex in Norwich Road, adjacent to the main football pitch.
