Aldiss Park Bowls Club's annual dinner and trophy presentation took place at Dereham Town Football Club's function room.
The event was held at lunch-time, which was a new departure for the club, and the timing change certainly appeared to meet with general approval.
Sixty members and friends enjoyed a pleasant afternoon, with a traditional Sunday luncheon provided by Swanton Morley Butchers.
After the meal, the trophies and awards, which represented successes by club members in club, local league, and Norfolk county competitions, were presented by club sponsor Tim Warner of WW Rent-A-Van, assisted by club chairman Peter Hart and club internal competitions organiser Janet Newell.
The occasion signified the end of another very enjoyable and successful season for the club, and members are keenly looking forward to a similar scenario in 2018.
