Fakenham Junior School will represent north Norfolk at the county tri-golf finals in July after winning the first north Norfolk tri-golf finals.
Seventy pupils from seven primary schools took part in the finals, hosted by Cromer High School. Tri-golf is a mini version of golf delivered through fun-based activity sessions with youngster friendly equipment. It is now delivered to 750,000 young children a year across Britain.
Dean Futter, school sport golf coach, organised the finals, and was supported by the young ambassadors and young leaders from Cromer High School.
Dean said 'As a former PG pro the level of abilities was exceptionally high.' The final comprised of schools in teams of 10 pupils competing in putting, chipping, and hitting challenges in a circuit around the sports hall. Langham Village finished second, and The Belfry-Overstrand third.
