Dereham Golf Club entertained the Norfolk Golf Club in a friendly match between the 'minor' juniors. The weather was excellent and the enthusiasm of the players matched the conditions.
Dereham Golf Club entertained the Norfolk Golf Club in a friendly match between the 'minor' juniors. The weather was excellent and the enthusiasm of the players matched the conditions.
This was an opportunity to give up-and-coming golfers the experience of match play and, for the Norfolk players, to play on a different course. The highlights of the day were two birdies at the par three third by the two youngest players, Sian Green and Abigail O'Riordan.
After the match everyone was given drinks and a meal.
A return match will be arranged for next year.
