THE Magpies' inability to find the net again left them point-less at Aldiss Park on Saturday.

They passed the ball well in the opening minutes but couldn't break down their tame opponents.

This was a pattern which continued throughout the match

The Magpies were caught on the break when they committed too many players forward in the 29th minute and Hadleigh scored with Craig Payne netting after his initial effort had been blocked.

After further fruitless Dereham attacks the Essex side increased their lead in the 42nd minute through Ronaldo Wright.

Danny Beaumont missed an early second-half chance before manager Matty Henman made a triple substitutution to try and change things and one of these, the experienced Graham Barrett, came close twice.
