GOLF: An alliance was formed in 2009 between Dereham, Fakenham, Feltwell, Mundesley and Ryston Park clubs to work together to provide mutual benefits for their members.
This year a league was formed with teams of the clubs seniors playing each others' courses during the winter months.
Fakenham captain Glenn Robertson was delighted that his team were the inaugural winners of the competition.
He expressed his appreciation to the clubs for the camaraderie and spirit in which the games were played and looked forward to next year's event.
The winning team was Ken Kaye, Bernie McKeon, Peter Cleaton, Glenn Robertson (seniors' captain), Graham Wild, Colin Holmes, Chris Baynes, Ray Bennett, John Hume, Dennis Rowell and Robin Sexton.
