Good times for runners

RUNNING: Eight competitors from Dereham Runners AC took part in the Holt seven-mile road race at the weekend.

On a demanding course with a head wind on the return into Gresham's School, Sean Atterwill led the team home.

On a demanding course with a head wind on the return into Gresham's School, Sean Atterwill led the team home.

With recent good form he initially went with the leaders whom he eventually found to be too strong.

His excellent time of 42:37 placed him fifth overall and first junior.

Emma Potter-Campbell is returning from injury but was the sixth lady home in a time of 49:47.

Also competing from the club were Neville Knights (45:19), Steve Nimmock (49:58), Rory Campbell (51:29), Andy Norton (53:59), John Richardson (56:49) and Gill Woodhouse (58:27).
