GREAT Witchingham and Fakenham were the winners as the Norfolk Cricket Board recently hosted the annual indoor Lord's Taverners six-a side competition at the UEA Sportspark.
Now in its 17th year, the competition is run over two Saturdays at both Under-12 and U14 age groups.
In the U12s Great Witchingham, who are newcomers to the event, beat Vauxhall Mallards in the final and in the U14s Fakenham ran out winners beating Great Melton.
Both winners now go on to represent Norfolk in the East Anglian finals on Saturday, again at the UEA.
Competition organiser, the NCB's cricket development officer Kevin Denmark, said: 'This tournament continues to go from strength to strength and the standard of play seems to increase year on year. We are grateful to The Lord's Taverners for their ongoing support.'
