Dereham Golf Club celebrated another year of their Sunday Circus competition with afternoon tea followed by the trophy presentation.
Overall winner was John Batty with Nigel Elmar the best gent and Jill Trudgill the best lady.
The friendly mixed greensome competition this year was played on Sunday afternoons from the end of October until the middle of March with a weekly draw for partners and points being awarded to each pair finishing in the top three positions.
This season 12 competitions have been played, losing one to another competition and three to bad weather. A total of 305 members have participated at various times, comprising 126 men, 156 ladies, one junior boy and seven junior girls, with an average of 25.5 turning out each week.
A golf ball was presented to every player who had attended five sessions or more of the circus.
