Evergreens visited the league leaders Norwich City V in their Empresa League Division Two game and managed a 1-1 draw.
Evergreens had a game plan to close down quickly City players and not to allow them space. Evergreens were creating chances and forcing several short corners in the first half and went into half time at 0-0.
They continued to frustrate Norwich in the second half and when City got a shot at goal they found Evergreens' keeper in fine form.
Evergreens took the lead when a fine run and cross by Dee Clipston was met by Carole Ransom. Evergreens continued to work hard with every player doing their job and frustrating their opponents.
City piled on the pressure and were awarded a short corner in the last minute which Evergreens thought they had cleared only to find the umpire had awarded another short corner from which City scored to deny an Evergreens' victory.
