Dereham travelled to their second of four away fixtures inside the M25.
A youthful side started brightly with early efforts from Rosbergen and Crookes but, despite many penetrating attacks, were frustrated not to find the goalbox.
Against the run of play, Forest bundled the ball into the net with a swiftly executed counter-attack. The remainder of the half saw several fine saves by Collinge in the Dereham goal, with huge efforts from Turner in the middle of the park.
Following a rousing half-time team talk from player/coach Matthew Pickering, Dereham started the second half at a blistering pace, but a Dereham goal just would not come.
Again Forest struck when Dereham were in the ascendancy, this time with a slick penalty corner routine that all but extinguished their hopes of victory.
Dwereham Ladies recorded a 2-1 away win at Lowestoft in their latest East League Division One North fixture.
