Reepham Ladies took home the prestigious Summer League champion's title and shield for the lower ladies division, after securing 13 games undefeated.
Entering one squad this year, Reepham Ladies secured the win with the help of top scorer and captain Katie Lake.
'Reepham Ladies have done me proud,' she said, 'We have such strong players that we all bond together so well both on and off the pitch, we each have a unique strength that unifies us. That and the drive to win.'
Credit goes also to their trusty and team coach Graham Richardson, who after 14 years is retiring to focus on his businesses at Alby Tea rooms and Norfolk Farm Shop. The club has seen a few new members join but are open to welcoming new players. Training resumes at the start of September at Taverham Hockey Club on Thursday evenings.
