The Magpies had a fine start to pre-season at the weekend with a Boot Camp at the club.
The players were made to work very hard by the club's own coaches as well as a boxing trainer and 2 PT instructors from the Light Dragoons at Robertson Barracks, Swanton Morley, after a 'rude awakening' on Sunday morning.
The weekend was a great success both in fitness terms and for club spirit with the new lads, all of who attended, getting to know everyone.
Players were also well looked after with meals by Ginny Barnes and her staff.
The only downside of the weekend was a loss on the bowls green to the bowls club, but the Magpies are very confident of beating them at football in the second leg!
