Magpies have an off night
Dereham Town 0, Stanway Rovers 5
'A very, very bad day at the office,' admitted Magpies' manager Matt Henman after Tuesday's shock home defeat.
Town had James Smith sent off after five minutes, Stanway converting the resulting penalty.
'We were poor, and the players want to put things right on Saturday,' said Henman. Then his side entertain Newmarket (3pm).
He said Leiston, left five points clear at the top of thge Ridgeons Premier with three games in hand before last night's game at lowly Walsham-le-Willows, would win the league.
'Talk of Leiston is irrelevant. They are in a different league to the rest of us. If we finish second we will have done very well.'
Bourne and Molton completed the nap hand which left Dereham trailing Premier Division leaders Leiston by five points having played three games more, but four points ahead of Wroxham, who have played one game more.

Dereham Town 4, Wivenhoe 0
THE Magpies got back to winning ways on Saturday after their midweek 1-1 draw with CRC (Gary Starling), beating lowly Wivenhoe at Aldiss Park.
Manager Matt Henman was delighted with the three points which strengthen their hold on second place.
'I'm pleased with the result,' he said. 'Once we got the second goal we coasted really and could have won by more.'
At half-time it was 1-0 with Jay Eastoe-Smith heading home from a Gary Starling cross.
Three more were added in the second half through Danny Beaumont and a brace from Seamus Kelleher.
Beaumont netted direct from a corner before Kelleher hit a 25-yard strike to make it 3-0 and added the final one from a close-range tap-in.
'We expected to win and we did win,' said Henman. 'Good performance, professional performance. We could have won by more, it was very comfortable in the end.'
