Dereham will be hoping to put last week's poor performance behind when they entertain title- chasing Soham Town Rangers in the Ridgeons League Premier Division at Aldiss Park this Saturday (3pm).
The two sides fought out a fine goalless draw at Julius Martin Lane in November.
The Magpies crashed to a heavy defeat at Harwich & Parkeston, 4-0, with their worst display of the season last Saturday.
A strong-looking side started the match but Adam Gusterson and James Wilson were both not 100pc fit. After conceding an early goal they missed two good chances before the home side netted three more goals before the break in a disastrous first half.
Defenders Gusterson and Wilson did not appear for the second half as the Magpies played better. However, they failed to reduce the deficit, with the final scoreline remaining at 4-0.
Assistant manager Jason Fuller was unimpressed with his side's display. He said: “We didn't really get off the bus. The players didn't work for each other in a lacklustre showing. This was particularly disappointing following our convincing win at Stanway the previous week.”
