DEREHAM Town will be looking to get their league campaign in full flow in two successive home games after Tuesday night's defeat at Norwich United left them with just one point from their opening three games.
Following Saturday's FA Cup triumph over Leiston (report on page 45) to earn a preliminary round tie at home to Wroxham on August 29, the Magpies went to Plantation Park midweek and lost 1-0 in a poor performance, to a 12th minute goal from Steve Shipley, who headed home a free-kick.
The Planters were forced to hang on in the closing stages after defender Tom Jeal was dismissed for a second yellow card.
Dereham, strongly tipped to be among the Ridgeons championship contenders this campaign, now have two games in four days in front of their Aldiss Park supporters.
Harwich & Parkeston are Saturday's visitors (3pm), followed on Tuesday night by Walsham-le-Willows (7.45).
