GOLF: Dereham's Andrew Marshall failed to capitalise on an excellent front nine as he finished in a tie for 43rd position at the Scottish Hydro Challenge at MacDonald Spey Valley.
The mid-norfolk professional went to the turn in just 31 shots on Sunday , with an eagle two at the 468 yard par four third sparking his fine run. But four dropped shots coming home saw him finish with a level par 71 which, coupled with a poor 77 on Saturday, left him on a six over total of 290. Winner on 276 was Scotland's Jamie McLeary.
