On a warm and bright spring day Dereham Golf Club's junior members continued their 2017 season by playing for the NVS Cup and the Easter Trophy, sponsored by Andy and Chrissie Brown of NVS.

The day saw Max Jacobs retain the NVS Cup with a gross 73 (handicap five) with Joe Crane taking the runner-up prize with a gross 82 (handicap 14).

In the 18 holes Easter Trophy competition Maisie Farrelly won with a net 67 with Liam Kevern taking the net runner-up prize with a net 70. The nine holes competition once again saw Charley Brett taking the gross prize and Charlie Eke the net prize. The five holes competition saw Toby Bennett achieve his first win for 2017. Chrissie Brown presented the winners with their salvers and vouchers and all players with Easter eggs.

The juniors continue their competitions with the Steve Jack Trophies on Monday, May 1.
