Marcella won a silver medal in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:27 :33 and a bronze in the 800m freestyle in 9:09:07. She was narrowly out-touched into fourth in the 200m backstroke in 2:23:53. Marcella led her team to fifth place in the 4x200 relay final.

Five days of swimming started with the 100m freestyle where she swam a personal best time of 1:00.77. She went on to swim personal best times in every race.

Marcella was rubbing shoulders with the cream of British age group swimming and came sixth overall in the BAGCAT'S, a series of points awarded for best individual perfomances through the range of events.

She now has a rest from swimming, before stating the new season on September 1.

Marcella thanked Breckland Council who through their Gifted & Talented award programme supported her and enabled her to buy a competative super suit racing costume and helped towards her accommodation fees in Sheffield.
