Wendling FC have recently been given a new kit by Joanne Cross the owner of the Plough and Furrow in Dereham, their new sponsors.
At home to Rocklands Res they fell behind but equalised when Rayner picked the ball up deep, beat three players and rifled home from 25 yards. They grabbed the lead when Luck was the quickest to react to a scrambled clearance, only to have his goal poached a yard out by Caine. Macewan struck their second 25 yarder of the game. Rocklands converted a penalty but Wendling made the game safe following a fine Wheeler run with Macwean applying the finish. MoM: Rayner. Next fixture home to Bawdeswell, Tuesday, 6.15pm ko.
