Dereham Town have made several signings as they prepare for the new season, with more to follow.Manager Matty Henman has been busy over the past few weeks and has acquired the services of talented midfielder Adam Smith from Norwich United, experienced goalkeeper John Higgs - who has had Southern League experience with King's Lynn - pacey centre back Dean Miller from the Linnets and promising left back Ben Furlong from Wroxham.

Manager Matty Henman has been busy over the past few weeks and has acquired the services of talented midfielder Adam Smith from Norwich United, experienced goalkeeper John Higgs - who has had Southern League experience with King's Lynn - pacey centre back Dean Miller from the Linnets and promising left back Ben Furlong from Wroxham.

Ex-Canary Cedric Anselin has also agreed to re-sign for the Magpies with youngster Jason Hunt also putting pen to paper this week.

Henman has also bolstered his backroom staff with Neal Simmonds assisting Bob Stevens with the reserve side and Mark Armes helping Martin Marshall with the A team.

Garth Goode is the club's new youth development officer and he will assist Kevin Woodgett in running the U18 side.
