DEREHAM'S match at Dersingham was the only Norfolk Alliance fixture to be wiped out by the weather on Saturday.

The Dereham players arrived at Dersingham to find puddles on the outfield after a thunderstorm, and with the wicket uncovered it was immediately apparent that no play would be possible.

With all of their rivals completing their games, Dereham have slipped further behind in the Division Two promotion race and they host North Runcton A on Saturday seeking their first victory since May 31.

There was better news for Dereham A, who completed a comprehensive nine-wicket win at home to Stow A in West Norfolk League Division One.

The visitors were bowled out for just 93 and Dereham cruised home for the loss of one wicket.

Dereham B lost by 81 runs to Hospital in Division Four.

Excellent opening spells from Bradley Raper (3-37) and Lewis Bates (2-52) put Dereham in charge early on, but the Hospital middle order, led by Kevin Fisher (52 not out) staged a recovery.

Neal Widdows took 3-35 as Hospital finished on 170-9.

Dereham opener Jackson Ramm made 27, but he lacked support from the rest of the top order as the hosts slumped to 37-6.

Bates (24) and Raper (16) provided some resistance, but Dereham were all out for 89.
