John Richardson was the sole Dereham Runner to take part in the Marham 10-mile. Over a good course it was a shame that there was such a small field. He finished in 1-23:48.
The Worstead Festival five-mile attracted a much larger field with 330 finishers. Sean Atterwill was the first Dereham Runner to finish in 29:58, which earned him a 10th position overall and a first in the Junior Men category.
Paul Harrison was the second Dereham Runner to finish in 33:46, followed by Clem Vogler with a first in his age group of 35:05, Ash Gilbert 35:28, Steve Gilbert 38:13, Gill Woodhouse 40:11, Ken Renshaw 41:06, Robert Sivell 43:22 and Di Renshaw 52:59.
