Some league clubs must be concerned at falling gates. The Fakenham-Thetford derby was watched by only 34, at Plantation Park 51 saw the Norwich United game, 69 were at Gorleston's Emerald Park and Wroxham attracted 95 to Trafford Park.

On the Wroxham website, after the Yachtsmen's 4-2 home Premier Division defeat by Haverhill, Kenny Cooke reflected “gates are lower than they have ever been”.

Good Wroxham chances were wasted before an own goal gave Haverhill the lead. Danny White outjumped the defence to score a great equaliser. Another mistake early second half gave an unmarked player a free header but Matt Daniels beat two defenders and crossed for Owen Paynter to score with 15 minutes to go. Haverhill made a quick break to score, and with three minutes left a high ball came over and Scott Howie pushed it on to the bar only for it to rebound to a waiting Haverhill player.

Kirkley & Pakefield, up to fifth spot, were made to work hard for their 2-1 win at Newmarket. Scott Martin scored his first goal for the club and skipper Joe Jefford was on target. Mark Grainger replied.

Dereham returned from the Abbey Stadium with a point from a 2-2 draw with CRC.

Jordan Patrick put CRC in front after 10 minutes but just before the break Ollie Willis burst forward from his own half to score a class equaliser. Early second half Danny Beaumont put Dereham in front with a brilliant individual effort, but on 62 minutes Patrick headed the equaliser. Great Yarmouth moved three points closer to the top of the First Division with a 2-1 win at Stowmarket. Scott Woodcock put the Bloaters in the lead in first half added time. Two minutes into the second half, Woodock saw keeper Ross Charters spill his shot and Gavin Norman notched his first goal for Yarmouth. Stow's Kane Hughes made it 2-1 after 63 minutes.

Gorleston made it six league games without defeat, winning 3-0 at home against Cornard. The Greens took the lead on the half-hour through Peter Lambert's header. In the 54th minute Lambert glanced in a free-kick, and Luke Goreham slotted the third through the keeper's legs.

Mildenhall won 4-3 at home to Harwich, Wisbech beat visitors Debenham LC 5-1 and King's Lynn Reserves lost 3-2 at home to Walsham-le-Willows.

Thetford ensured Fakenham remain bottom of the division with a 2-0 win at Clipbush Park.

The Ghosts lost possession mid field after 35 minutes and stood off as Simon Mann drove towards goal and picked his spot. From a promising free-kick deep in the Thetford half on 80 minutes, James Bamford hit the ball into the defensive wall and Thetford broke for Matt Dixon to make the game safe.

Diss Town lost 3-1 at Brantham. After two minutes home goalkeeper Ryan Bedingfield saved a penalty from Mark Shadrack. Ten minutes before half-time Diss' Jason Hunt was sent off. At 2-0 down Dave Adams headed the Diss goal on 75 minutes but two minutes from time David Grimwood completed the scoring

Downham lost 3-0 at Saffron Walden.
