Sunday at Greenfields Road saw Dereham's mixed team play local rivals Norwich City in round two of the national cup tournament.

Dereham started strongly with some good passing and attacking play from Seb Hinchliffe and Sarah Steele. City had a few breaks but defenders Will Longworth and Sam Holland easily cleared up any breakthroughs.

Another Dereham attack saw a great run from Will Edwards who pulled it back for captain Becca Taylor to easily put away past the keeper.

Dereham continued to attack and put a second goal before half time when Will Dewing crossed to Sam Colman to net.

Man of the match goalkeeper Matt Collins made some cracking saves to keep a clean sheet and Dereham showed some wonderful possession hockey. They secured the win with a third individual goal, from Edwards, slotting the ball neatly away in the far post.
