SUNDAY was a busy day for Dereham Runners with nine runners competing over 9k in the second of the series of six cross-country races organised by Ryston Runners at Shouldham Warren.
Clem Vogler was the highest-placed Dereham Runner with a third in his age group, whilst Neville Knights was the fastest, with most runners scoring club points in a very competitive race.
Vet Men 45: Neville Knights 34:54, Keith Moore 37:30, Steve Nimmock 39:48.
Vet Men 55: John Richardson 43:49.
Vet Men 60: Clem Vogler 38:34, Tony Bastard 41:31 and Ernie Bradshaw 45:25.
Vet Ladies 45: Anita Cullen 50:06, Hazel Cason 54:51.
Rory Campbell and Ken Renshaw travelled to
St Neots and competed in
the Riverside Half
Marathon.
With clear blue skies and windy conditions, over a hilly course, Campbell finished in 1-47:39 and Renshaw in 1-55:42.
