On Sunday, Dereham Runners took part in the third race in the series of six cross country races organised by Ryston Runners, held at Shouldham Warren. Currently placed sixth in the club competition, Dereham Runners gave some excellent performances, taking them to within one point of the fifth-placed club.

Top three placings were achieved by Sean Atterwill and Ernie Bradshaw, taking second in their age groups, and Neville Knights with a third in his.
