The Barnes Print Central & South Norfolk League season is fast coming to an end with the remaining fixtures now being played.
There is just one issue to be settled and that relates to the one relegation place from Division One.
That dubious honour will go to Shipdham unless they can beat the league champions Tacolneston in their last match on Saturday. If they manage to do that, Mulbarton Wanderers A will be destined for the drop.
League champions Tacolneston moved closer to recording a century of goals this season with a 5-2 win at Watton United Reserves. The Division Two runners-up Longham won 9-3 at Bowthorpe Rovers.
Thoughts are already turning to next season, with some of the teams from the Norwich & District Saturday League joining. If the number of applications and inquiries received turn into new members, there should be a competitive schedule for the new season.
