Sportshall duo compete for Norfolk
Two Dereham Runners juniors were selected to represent Norfolk in the Sportshall regional finals held at the UEA Sportspark, Norwich.Ashley Jarvis, in his first season as an under-13, was selected as a reserve and ran a two-lap race and also competed in the field.

William Moore, in his last year as an under-13, had an excellent day, he ran in the 4x1 and 4x2 relays. In the shot William threw 11.20m which was a massive personal best and secured him the gold medal.
The under-13 boys team finished second overall, beaten by just 14 points.
The under-15 boys also finished second but the under-13 and under-15 girls teams both finished first and so will be travelling to Birmingham in April to compete at the National Sportshall finals.
