Waites' double hat-trick was added to by Daniel Maister and Richard Williams and leaves Brandon third in the table, among a group of up to eight who can claim chances of the championship.
North Walsham still top the Premier Division (32 points from 15 games), followed by Beccles Town (26 from 13), Brandon (24 from 17), Blofield (23 from only 11 matches), Cromer (23 from 12), Acle (23 from 14) Loddon (23 from 14) and Hempnall (22 from 13).
In the Cyrill Ballyn Trophy, West Lynn SSC beat visitors Hemsby 4-1 while in Division Two, sixth-placed Mundford drew 3-3 at home to leaders Norwich CEYMS.
In Division Four, Mattishall Reserves beat visitors UEA 4-1, the sides now third top and second bottom respectively, and in Division Six, Freethorpe Reserves won 6-1 at East Harling Reserves.
A total of 44 fixtures failed to beat the weather.
