Maroof Khan blasted 135 for Clacton as they totalled 304 all out, with four wickets for James Spelman and three apiece for Lance Shaw and Stuart Evans.
All of the Witchingham top six reached double figures, but none made a half-century, with Sam Arthurton top scoring on 37. Shaw hit an unbeaten 31 and along with last man Evans saw Witchingham to safety as they closed on 230-9.
In the final of the Norfolk 20/20 in front of 500 people at Manor Park on Friday night, Witchingham were unable to stop Swardeston retaining the trophy.
Swardeston made 153-7 (Will Wrist 35, Jaden Hatwell 26, Jonny Cooper 32 not out) and Witchingham fell 17 runs short at 136-8 (James Spelman 51, Carl Rogers 33).
The most wickets in the competition award was shared by Fakenham's Michael Smith, Swardeston's Richard Sims and Witchingham's Lance Shaw.
