Dereham Town U12 bounced back after a couple of disappointing results with an outstanding 5-0 away win at Scole. Dereham dominated the first half with great fighting spirit as they won everything in midfield and were solid at the back. Neat passing created several chances, Kieran created the opener with a weaving run into the box and a cross that was headed in by Logan. Scole pressured for a bit in the second half but couldn't find a way through. Kieran caused more problems for Scole's defence as another great run into the box was slotted home for 2-0. Logan's shot was well saved and finally smashed in by Marcus. Jake's run down the left and superb defence splitting pass was taken by Sam who sprinted half the pitch to drill it past the keeper for 4-0. A penalty for handball was converted by Harry the goalie for number five.

Dereham Wanderers U13 Girls took on Mulbarton Belles with only seven players with Rochy,Laura and Drew missing. Mulbarton started the strongest and were threatening to score but Chloe made some great saves. Dereham started to make some forward moves and Erren made a great run through the defence and slotted the ball past the keeper to put Dereham one up. Wanderers had chances to increase their lead with Phoebe getting passes to both Natalie and Katie who made good runs but could not find the finishing touch. Mulbarton pushed forward towards the end of the half and equalised with a good move. In the second half Mulbarton had a few chances with shots going past the post and at the other end Millie made a good run with a good cross but no-one in the middle could slot home. Sassy had a chance with one of her special power shots but was just off target. With 10 minutes remaining the Dereham girls' energy was fading and Mulbarton's extra players took advantage and scored twice more to make the final score 3-1. This was an excellent performance by Dereham and all deserved the manager's girl of the match with Erren the opposition's player of the match.
