A host of household names headlining a festival of sport, leisure and culture in Norfolk will feature local bands as support acts.
Breckfest is a three-week celebration, organised by Breckland Council, to mark the handover of the Olympic Games from Beijing to London and the close of the Paralympics Games.
Hot Chocolate, Suzi Quatro and Showaddywaddy, will all play at the main event to be held at Attleborough recreation ground.
And now the support acts have been unveiled as three young groups who all take lessons, rehearse and compose, at Janel's Drum Tuition in Dereham.
Dysfunction, The Crush, and The Union Jacks, who are all aged between 10 and 16 years old, and cite their music as ranging from punk rock to heavy rock, will be warming up the stage for the music legends.
The event will run from August 24 to September 14, and it is hoped Breckfest will become an annual event.
