Binham set to celebrate spring
Fine bonnets and hairy coats - some short and curly, others long and silky - will be on show when Binham celebrates spring time in style on Sunday. A traditional fun afternoon for all the family is in prospect at the Binham Spring Fayre, which takes place from 2pm to 5pm at the village's Memorial Hall and playing field.

A traditional fun afternoon for all the family is in prospect at the Binham Spring Fayre, which takes place from 2pm to 5pm at the village's Memorial Hall and playing field.
Events include an Easter bonnet contest for adults and children (starting at 2.30pm) followed by a not-too-serious dog show (3pm).
Youngsters will be invited to let off steam with games and races. Everyone can test their skill with football, golf and lofting the long-range welly. Some may prefer a shot at the slow bicycle race. There will be other attractions and a variety of stalls, including face painting, the human fruit machine, plant sales, books and home-made cakes. Teas and refreshments will be available.
Entry is free and amply parking is provided. The event will benefit Binham's village hall.
