One of the best stonking big bands in the region, the 78 RPM Big Band, returns to Dereham Jazz Society at the Lakeside Country Club, Lyng, on Wednesday. Comprising musicians from the Cambridge and Peterborough areas, and led by saxophonist/arranger Julian Landymore, this band has performed with distinction in the BBC Big Band contest, and plays arrangements from all eras of the big band format. The session begins at 8.30pm and admission is �8.
