Organisers of Dereham Town Football Club's fete are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday. Gates open for the summer fete at Aldiss Park, Dereham, at 1pm when Busybodies Stage School will be getting things under way with a display at 1.
Organisers of Dereham Town Football Club's grand fete are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather on Sunday.
Gates open for the summer fete at Aldiss Park, Dereham, at 1pm when Busybodies Stage School will be getting things under way with a display at 1.30pm.
The Union Jacks will be performing throughout the afternoon and there will be a hog roast and cream teas.
Attractions include children's funfair rides, fun stalls, charity stalls, military tanks, face painting and lots of prizes to be won on the football club tombola, which have been donated by businesses in Dereham.
And Broadland Radio is taking on the club's Dereham lads in a friendly, with the kick-off at 3pm.
Club chairman Simon Barnes, said:” It's an event for the whole family and community so we look forward to seeing many people come along.
“We are opening up the whole club so those that have never been before can come and have a look around all the facilities we have to offer.
“We have the youth teams here on the day, and it's a great chance to get everyone together and help support the teams. These lads are our future reserves, A-team and 1st
team.”
There will be additional parking
for the summer fete at Neatherd High School car park on the day and at the club car park.
