IS something valuable gathering dust up in your
loft?
If you think so, dig it out,
dust if off and take it along next month to the What's it Worth? Treasures in the Attic session in Dereham.
Auctioneers and experts Stephen Long and Darren Millenchip will be valuing items taken to Church House at a cost of 1 a piece. You can choose to sell at auction,
or, if the items are small
such as jewellery, there will
be a chance to sell
immediately.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 9, starting at 10am, and the proceeds will boost the 65,000 appeal to add two new bells to the ring of eight at St Nicholas's Church in the town and to make the bell-tower a centre of bellringing training.
Celia Barker, one of the appeal organisers, said: 'We are hoping that this will prove to be a popular event, especially in the current economic climate.'
