When the first snowdrops start to appear you start to feel spring may be just around the corner.
So what better way to welcome the change in seasons than by visiting one of many gardens that will be open over the coming months which has massed displays of the delicate white flowers.
Walsingham Abbey's snowdrop walks open on January 31 and provide an unrivalled display.
Visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere surrounding the Priory ruins, in wildflower meadows, and 18 acres of woodland.
At Walsingham most of snowdrops are 'common' galanthus nivalis but there are clumps of the common double, galanthus nivalis 'flore pleno'.
