Become a nature detective and discover Gressenhall's wild side this Bank Holiday Monday.

The site is bursting with new life and visitors to the Gressenhall Goes Wild event can find out more about the animals and insects that call the attraction home.

Vicky from Wild4 will be on hand for family woodland exploration, messy fun and natural crafts while you can play among the trees and keep an eye out for useful leaves and twigs to create your own woodland beastie.

Meet local nature detective Stuart Burgess to find out what likes to live in leaf litter and discover what the tadpoles, backswimmers and other pond life are up to this springtime. Look inside the butterfly and moth enclosure, see the spiders and their web of flies and make your own spider web. Use a sweep net to explore what makes its home in the long grass of the orchard.

See some wilder animals with Jurassic Encounters, the mobile Zoo. Meet and handle snakes, lizards, tortoises, skunks, skinny pigs and many more amazing animals.

Find out what delicious things can be found growing wild in gardens and hedgerows with Debby from Pickled Lilly.

Inspired by the natural world, see the stunning creations of artist Bob Lever of White Horse Willow, from bird and animal sculptures, to plant supports, garden ornaments and living willow structures. Watch The Wacky Woodturner, Joshua Hubbard at work on his lathe and discover how he turns timber into bowls, mushrooms and dibbers.

See what's growing – and living – in the Gressenhall gardens. Create new life and sow a runner bean seed in your own newspaper plant pot. Meet the team from the Waveney Valley Hogspital, a voluntary hedgehog rescue centre in South Norfolk, and find out how they care for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs.

Get creative with the Norfolk County Council Family Learning Team, with lots of nature inspired things to see and do, or visit Art Attack! and make a flying bird or bug to take home.

Gressenhall Goes Wild runs from 10am to 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

All activities are included within admission.
