NATURAL BEAUTY: The stunning watercolour and oil wildlife paintings of Neil Cox will be featured in a new exhibition at The Ringstead Gallery at Burnham Market.

The show opens at the gallery, off the village green, on Saturday, April 19, when there is a private view from 10am until 7pm, and the show can be seen until April 26.

Neil was always interested in conservation and the environment and drew and painted from an early age.

He graduated with a law degree from Southampton University while continuing to paint. However, early interest from galleries and private collectors prompted a decision to make wildlife art his career.

Neil has exhibited across Europe and the UK. In mainland Europe he has shown at the Galerie Florimont in Lausanne, Switzerland, and for several years with Moll Brinks Konst in Uppsala, Sweden.

Both Sotheby's and Christie's have auctioned his paintings and Phillips has auctioned his work in aid of the Rhino Rescue Trust, raising funds for endangered wildlife.

Neil has sold work at the Mall Galleries in London and has been a finalist in the European Bird Artist of the Year competition.

He travels extensively, constantly seeking new ideas.

The Ringstead Gallery will be open for the Neil Cox exhibition between 10am and 5pm and also from 11am until 4pm on April 20. The gallery can be contacted on 01328 738458 or via email at ringsteadgallery
