Beauty and the Beast is coming to Dereham Memorial Hall this Christmas, as Dereham Theatre Company presents its award-winning family pantomime.

The classic fairy tale follows kind-hearted Belle (Brodie Elgood) as she tries to save her father, held captive in the Beast’s magnificent castle (played by Mark Wells).

With the help of traditional pantomime characters - not least Dame Mardi Gras (Nick Bird) and Fairy Tinkle (Charlotte Bunting) - Belle’s rescue mission doesn’t quite go to plan.

Featuring more glitter and pizzazz than your Christmas tree, and set to a fantastic score of favourite songs, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas and New Year break.

Performances start on December 27 and run until January 1.
