Fakenham Town Band has rescheduled its grand Christ-mas concert after the wintry weather forced the cancellation of the event on Sunday.

The show will now be held at Fakenham High School on Sunday, January 3 (2.30pm).

Apart from traditional favour-ites, the repertoire will extend to a Glenn Miller-style arrangement of Sleigh Ride, a bass trombone solo of Frosty the Snowman and a euphonium rendition of O Holy Night.

Tickets, at £4.50, are available on the door, and previously- bought tickets will be honoured.

Anyone who bought a ticket in advance but is unable to attend should contact the band on 01263 861876 for a refund.

The band's Christmas Eve performance is expected to go ahead as planned in Fakenham Market Place from 7pm.
